"Without self-discipline, success is impossible, period." - Lou Holtz

The Diamond Kings Baseball Club was put together by former professional player Shane Cronin. DK Baseball provides instruction in an athletic environment that goes far beyond the physical elements of Baseball.  Mentoring and providing a positive and influential experience using Baseball as the format.  A teaching friendly atmosphere with a disciplined approach that will allow young athletes to maximize their potential.  Our goal is to improve players skills on the field while preparing them for life outside of Baseball.

Looking for players that are dedicated to learning and becoming better individuals as well as learning the game of Baseball, and coaches and parents looking to hold their players accountable. Work ethic, and directed efforts are instilled into our players, which is to be applied to their development of becoming young men.

What To Expect

The Kings will begin their training in January, and run through May.  With additional opportunities for off-season conditioning for those not playing another Sport. Detailed and extensive instruction on all phases of the game to prepare them for their upcoming season.  All winter workouts are indoors at Cronin Athletics.

"Shane is technical genius with his instructions on properly hitting the ball.  He has a very calm demeanor and works very well with your child!  My son looks forward to every lesson and he always walked away with something new." Kerry Asay

"Patience, knowledge and an eye for details.  Shane has shown both myself and my son new and fun ways of learning and applying proper baseball techniques.  Thank you for what you do and for the kids and the great game of baseball."  Ray and Dillon

Head trainer for DK is Shane Cronin.  Next season will be his 12th year as a Baseball instructor, following a 10‐year career in Professional Baseball.  Playing in over 600 Minor League games at 5 positions, he has experience in every part of the field.  He understands the complexity of the game and a way of explaining and relaying that to the players he works with.
